Resilience is often seen as the cornerstone of personal growth. For me, resilience is not just a concept—it is a lived experience, a gift passed down from my extraordinary mother, Etheldreda Maria Nanteza Naluggi Namamonde, Kigongo Muscout Singoma. Her life’s example of strength, grace, and boundless love continues to guide my path, both personally and professionally as a life coach.
My mother’s resilience was steadfast, even in the face of life’s uncertainties. She believed in finding hope amidst adversity and never wavered in her commitment to family and community. Watching her navigate challenges with dignity taught me the power of inner strength—a lesson I carry forward into my coaching practice.
One of her enduring beliefs was that resilience is built on a foundation of faith, perseverance, and self-belief. She often reminded me that we cannot control life’s circumstances, but we can control how we respond to them. This wisdom resonates deeply in my work with clients as I help them discover their own capacity to thrive, even in the face of hardship.
As I honor my mother’s memory, I am reminded of the many ways her strength inspires me to empower others. Her legacy lives on in every client I guide toward overcoming obstacles and embracing their unique potential. In celebrating her, I celebrate the timeless values that shape resilience and illuminate the path to personal growth.
